Columbians reject FARC

Huge crowds of people marched through Bogota yesterday on Columbia’s Independence Day, protesting for an end to the incredibly unpopular FARC guerilla movement. Hugo Chavez has publicly backed the movement that currently holds nearly 2,800 people captive. Keep it up, Chav - you’re really a man of the people.  Marx would be proud.

Part of Reyes’ role has been to direct FARC’s cocaine-related activities, which is a major source of fundraising.
